**** NOW UPDATED ***** Hello, This is my brand new design for a mount/display system specifically tailored to showcase a helmet or mask while keeping most of the hanger hidden from view. The 'wall bracket' component sits snugly against the wall, providing a sturdy base. The 'shaft' then slots into this section using a peg for support, and finally, the rounded 'top' is secured with a second peg (aided by a dab of glue). I've designed each part separately to enable easy customization according to your helmet's unique dimensions. I 3D printed this design in PETG material using slic3r PE. A 50% infill with five perimeter layers was used to achieve maximum strength, except for the rounded top which features a 20% infill to maintain a lighter weight. I made this choice due to PLA's tendency to be brittle and prone to breaking. This latest iteration boasts a more streamlined design, eliminating two joints that were known to break easily and adopting a square form to minimize support requirements. It appears suitable for lightweight replica helmets; however, please print at your own risk! I disclaim any responsibility for damage to your helmet if it falls off the wall. NB: The lengths specified in this version are precisely calibrated to fit the official replica first-order stormtrooper helmet depicted.
