Wall Electrical Box Blank Plate - Extremely Flat

This is a custom design for a standard US single wall box. In my project, I repurposed an old audio and video cable storage box by creating a decorative plate to hang items from the wall without obstructing the original plate. I required a very thin blank plate that could be painted over to blend in seamlessly with its surroundings, unlike the standard thicker 5mm thick plate. My design is a 0.5mm thick plate that achieves this goal. According to Home Depot's website, my design can replace their "1-Gang Midway Blank Nylon Wall Plate" for those who prefer a thinner option. Important Safety Notice: I do not recommend using this design to conceal boxes containing high voltages or high power levels. For safety reasons, always use equipment approved by regulatory authorities in your area. I have created two models: 1) Flat Face Model - This is the design I ultimately used. It has a completely flat face that measures 0.5mm thick from the wall surface when measured. Printed in PETG, this print is somewhat flexible and may not be suitable for areas where objects might jam into the plate. This model prints face down. 2) Rounded or Sloped Face Model - This design is 1.6mm thick from the wall surface and offers more rigidity than the flat face model. It prints face up. Both models are 69mm wide and 114mm tall.
