The little robot's creators are busy with their spaceship, while he is left behind to do his job on Earth. He is programmed to clean up all the trash and waste that humans have carelessly discarded for centuries. His daily routine consists of compacting and storing garbage in big bins. The people who created him believe that eventually they will return, but Wall-e waits patiently day after day with no one around to talk to.
