WALL-E - enforced tracks anti-slippery update
prusaprinters
ZDC modified the tracks to be strong and used a paperclip to connect them. The paperclip idea was from Eisbaeeer tracks that I originally used, but they kept breaking on me were the paperclips went though there is not much plastic around them.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4069116ZDC also redesigned the front as a gear to help keep the tracking alignment. These tracks are easy to print and require No support.Connecting the last track/tread & Removing the paper clips can be difficult if you need to remove the tracks/tread.MY MODE:The tracks are prone to slipping on the hard floor when used indoors. I removed the thread from the track and added a groove to fit a 4 mm rubber cord. The centre of the circle “cutting” the groove is slightly moved inside the track to create a slightly closed groove. This helps secure the cord, but I recommend using cyanoacrylate glue.I printed it in PETG 0.15mm to get extra durability. Provided gcode file has 27 pcs on the MK3S plate.I attached the step file for everyone for modifications. Please remember to attribute the initial creators of those great designs.
