Wall Drilling Distance Template

Wall Drilling Distance Template

thingiverse

Purpose of this drilling template is to ensure that two holes have an exact distance of 145 mm from each other, making it ideal for precise measurements. The design is surprisingly simple and straightforward, allowing users to easily modify it for various distances with ease. To utilize this template effectively, start by drilling one hole first, then insert a small bolt into the resulting hole. Step back, adjust the angle to your needs, and you're good to go - vertically oriented setups seem to work best. Human intuition plays a significant role in gauging angles, so a spirit level may not be strictly necessary. However, for absolute certainty, simply draw a line on the wall after drilling the initial hole. This template can be printed using low-resolution settings, as I successfully accomplished with a layer height of 0.3 mm. Print Settings Rafts: Don't bother Supports: No need Resolution: Set to 0.3 for optimal results Infill: Use this option for added strength
