Occasionally, you may find yourself needing to move a bookshelf or relocate it to another area, particularly in children's rooms. Once this has been done, an unattractive hole remains until the space can be redecorated. Furthermore, you may soon need to reinstall the bookshelf in its original location. Therefore, I created a dowel cap for such purposes. I have designed two versions of these caps: one features a square top, while the other has a round cap that is smaller in size. It's straightforward to trim the ends of the caps to suit any given opening width.
