Wall door knob protector plus door catch

I needed something to shield a wall from a door knob impact and a latch to keep the door ajar. This is what I designed. The device features two arms that grasp the door. One arm is stationary while the other pivots on a hinge, allowing you to adjust the angle of the catch or secure it in place with super glue at your desired position. That's the basic concept. It does function effectively. I personally prefer using the fixed arm to keep the door open. I hope someone finds this design useful and has a great day.
