To organize my Maha battery charger, I positioned it near a wall on a desk. To store up to 20 AA or AAA batteries in cheap plastic cases from eBay ($1 for four), I designed a dock. I acquired four of these cases and printed them out. These docks can hold 80 batteries in total!
