V2 Updated design that is stronger and easier to print vertically. This is a simple modification of the Wall Control Hook that I created to convert other tool holders to Wall Control.

These are designed to be combined to your own object, it is recommended to print sideways with supports to provide more strength. Highly recommend using PETG or similar material for strength.

Also added are two additional options allowing an M4 or M5 screw to be used as a peg using the countersunk nut . These have been created by @ptyork (still v1)

V2

With some of my tool holder designs, I found that the best way to print was to have the slots vertical (standing) . The original designed just replicated the shape of the metal hooks for wall control. However, when printing vertically, this introduced a number of challenges around failed prints and weakness at the thinner locations across the layer lines. This caused several pieces to break when installing . Upside down prints would start with just the tip ouching the bed increasing risk of failed prints and difficult support removal.

With the V2 version, I have modified the hook to strengthen the thinner sections, reduce supports and make it much easier to print upside down by flattening the top tip.

If printing upside down, it may be required to slightly file down the 'nub' for the hook to easily enter the slot and swing down. The nub is the small ridge inside the top half of the hook between to two little slots.

Created a few options in Tinkercad with more slots to handle more weight. With PETG seems relatively strong printing right side up or upside down with supports. Upside down requires less support and prints cleaner. Feel free to make your own.

https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7Eq3AGUzG47

Print instructions

Category: Organization Summary

V2 Updated design that is stronger and easier to print vertically.
