Wall Clock
myminifactory
Fallout 4 inspired wall-clock, reminiscent of those seen on walls throughout the Commonwealth. The design is based on an actual clock purchased from an antique store, as evident in the red clock visible in the images. The .stl file's dimensions match the real-world clock precisely, but my printer bed's limitations prevented me from printing a full-size version - the yellow model is 85% of the actual size. If you decide to use the included clock-face template, resizing will be necessary to achieve a proper fit. The commercial clock movement was purchased through Woodcraft (https://www.woodcraft.com/products/mini-quartz-movement-for-face-stock-thickness-of-0-1-4?via=573621f669702d06760016d9%2C5775646169702d619c0001db), and can also be found on Amazon - be sure to check the specified 'depth' for compatibility, as my recommendation is a 1/4-inch thickness. In my case, an additional 1/8-inch spacer was required. The bezel is constructed from 1/8-inch plexi glass, secured with a single drop of hot glue in each corner - this design allows for easy removal if necessary. The clock showcased was printed using the 'fast' setting, resulting in a rough finish and increased difficulty with painting, but significantly reducing print time.
