Wall cap with cable cutout
thingiverse
I decided to design my own 3D printable wall caps since they can be quite challenging to find these days. I created two versions: one with a cable cut out and another without. To assemble the cap, you'll need to print the two pieces separately, then insert a small piece of 1.75mm filament into the hole on the cap part. Next, attach the second part to the pin and melt the end using a soldering iron or lighter. These wall caps are designed to fit through holes that are approximately 63mm in diameter. The total diameter of the cap is 84mm, making it suitable for most standard-sized walls. Additionally, the cutout can accommodate cables up to 10mm thick.
