Wall Bracket for 1 1/4" rod for universal spool holder
thingiverse
Implementing wall-mounted spool holders, I discovered that there's no standard hardware available for mounting a 5-inch rod from the wall. After checking my local Home Depot, I couldn't find any suitable options except an overpriced Martha Stewart Living bracket. Spending 15 minutes in Fusion 360 and 3 hours printing each side with PETG, I managed to create this solution. A wood dowel measuring 1 1/4 inches is used for the rod. To assemble a left/right pair, simply mirror your design in your slicer. For reference, check out this quick wall bracket tutorial: http://3dflat.services/index.php/2018/11/05/quick-wall-bracket/.
