I have now uploaded version 3 of the wall box. The new OpenSCAD file is highly customizable and offers several new options for the box. The PCB and battery case it was originally designed to work with hasn't changed, but with some simple variable changes, different PCBs and/or battery cases can be made to fit. Although this was not created using the MakerBot Customizer, this is a custom part. Enjoy this enclosure for a temperature and humidity sensor that I built for my home automation setup. The sensor is built using an EasyNewbie PCB created by @sundberg84 from the MySensors.org forum. Although this enclosure was designed for my Temp and humidity sensor, it can be used for any of several different sensor types. The battery box used for this project is a 2 x AA battery box that I purchased on eBay. The circuit board mounts on the four tabs inside the box, and the battery box fits perfectly in the slots provided. The battery slot on one side is open to allow for the wires to drop inside the box. The wall mounting plate is designed to have the box snap onto the top with side clips to hold it in place securely. The box can easily be pulled off the wall with a flat-blade screwdriver to release the tabs. I have made a couple of small modifications to the design of the box. For the new changes, download the V2 files. I have left the original files for those who still want them. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: 100% Notes: The box should be printed outer face side down for best results. Printing with the face side up will require supports due to the box top overhang. Post-Printing PCB and battery box mounting Mounting the circuit board and battery box are simple. Wedge the radio module under one of the corner mounting tabs and rest it on the four tabs. Use four 2mm x 5mm coarse-thread screws in the corners (marked in red in the image) to secure the board in place. For the battery box, the switch should be placed inside the box. If it is facing out the bottom, the bottom cover will not snap into place. One side of the battery box mounting slots has a relief cut in it marked in yellow on the image. This is the side where the power wires should go to channel inside the box for connecting to the PCB.
