Wall Bottle Opener with Metal Bar

<p>I liked <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:920297">3DBROOKLYNs Wall Bottle Opener</a> but I had some concern about its durabilty. See <a href="/make:774882">my make of it</a> for more about that.</p> <p>In this design I made room to glue in a piece of metal (steel, in my case) that will increase the lifespan of this piece. It's meant to hold a piece of metal 32x7x3mm.</p> <p>I also did away with the wall cleat and instead added a hole for a 4mm screw.</p> <p>Since I only had 5mm diameter magnets on hand I also changed the size of the hole for the magnet.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Creality</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Ender 3 Pro</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2mm Layer Height</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>20% Cubic</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> DAS FILAMENT PLA Neon Orange Post-Printing =============</p> <p>I used super glue to add both the magnet as well as my piece of metal.</p> <h3>How I Designed This</h3> <p>I used Tinkercad to do some "meshmixing" on the model.</p> <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/93/fb/d4/c0/f6/2020-03-22_14_47_43-Window.jpg"/></p> <p class="detail-image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/b5/e4/3e/07/e9/2020-03-22_14_47_58-Window.jpg"/></p> </p></p></p> Category: Kitchen & Dining
