Walksnail V2 VTX "Tray" for Dolphin
thingiverse
This is a pretty simple "tray" for mounting a Walksnail V2 VTX onto the nose of the Atomrc Dolphin. It fits between the front nose section and the front canopy, after cutting out a section of foam there to make room for it. Carefully cut away the foam a little at a time until finally trimming for a good final fit. You can take away more foam, but can't put it back. ;) The VTX is mounted to the tray using M2 screws before the tray is glued into the fuselage. To remove it later, either cut the tray out, or poke a drive up through the bottom of the fuselage to get to the screws. There's room for the cables to run down below and into the fuselage. There's a hole in the front for mounting an antenna with a 4mm post, and a place the run the coax cable through the tray. I have my camera mounted to a pan servo in front of the tray as shown. Also included is a small block that fits into the camera cutout in the front of the nose, that holds the pitot tube for my airspeed sensor.See it all in action here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKobNtb3jjk
