Many AvatarHD owners seem to have the same problem of consistently having to clean the OLED lens because the out-of-the-box goggles fit too close to the face. I was going to buy a DJI foam kit as others have, but since I have a 3D-printer, I thought I'd try to design a solution. The Problem: Face and/or eyelashes touch lens. Causes smudges, etc. Solution: This shim moves head away from the lens. Keeps lens clean. I used the replacement velcro from an HDO faceplate foam kit to attach on one-side and removed the backing from a foam faceplate and adhered it with a permanent spray adhesive on the other-side.
