Walking Leg Mechanics Type 1 Tip & Lift
prusaprinters
I will be posting 3 different walking Mechanicals. This one is very basic and Lifts and tips the gear box as it walks. So if your plan is to make a solar powered walking robot then I would use the LEVEL walking design that I will post. A low cost battery gear box with dual output shafts is used that you buy just about every where on line. a few screws and washers to hold it together and the rest is 3d printed. Since I did not make a body for the walking mechanics I just attached a battery box that has a switch built in "two AA batteries" to the frame. I have added a NEW motor small gear STL that has the D slot running all the way threw, that way even a gear motor with a longer shaft will let the gear seat full in place. I just added a body mount STL that you print and glue to the motor frame to give you a ftat surface to screw a body on to if you like. Print Settings Printer Brand: MK3 Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20 Notes: I did use supports on the legs for this model. Here is a YouTube vid of the build and actions. https://youtu.be/Pfw_jybhvHU Category: Robotics
