Summary Check out this video of a zoetrope in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E09L5mKf18 I've created 3D models of a working 3D zoetrope, featuring 10 poses of a walking elephant. To bring it to life, I used a stepper motor and an LED strobe light controlled by Arduino. Future upgrades are planned to improve the design. For the best visual effect, display the zoetrope in complete darkness - ambient lighting will introduce motion blur. Printing the elephant models upside down produces better results; however, they need to be resized to 0.3 scale (I apologize for forgetting this step when exporting them to STL). Next, apply glue to the inserts using a glue gun and carefully insert the elephants into the disk. To ensure seamless alignment, arrange the animals in order from 01 to 10. If any poses don't line up perfectly, use a heat gun to melt the glue and reposition the elephant accordingly. The primary purpose of these inserts is to enable easy switching between different animations on the same setup. Alternatively, you can glue the elephants directly to the disk - in this case, printing the inserts is unnecessary.
