Although thoroughly pleased with the journal I designed, my son quickly suggested that I should make the doors swing open separately. As a book, this would be quite challenging and complex to accomplish, so I created a container instead. I have revised my initial design. The handles in the original were too slender and snapped when I attempted to insert the wood beam. I've since improved upon this flaw, but haven't yet printed out the new blueprint. Similar to the original, you will need to use supports for the handles. Some assembly is required. The door frame must be glued onto the container, and the doors need to be slotted into place. To complete the project, I snapped a picture from the internet to glue inside the bottom of the box.
