Walking Blocks
grabcad
The initial project utilized Autodesk Inventor 2014 to create a dynamic simulation with a main body and two arms connected by an axle. The Inventor Studio module was used to generate animations and renderings. The model boasted symmetry, which allowed for reversal movements. It began with a 3.2° Rocker Plate slant, causing the main body to incline while the arms remained vertical. As the assembly reached a stable position, the arms' length ensured descent on the Rocker Plate. This global movement continued until the plate reverted its slant. The simulation was inspired by a YouTube clip (https://youtu.be/sHVF0xLCmyI), and required specific file management for animation customization in Inventor 2014 or later versions. Enjoy!
