The original design can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4377926. The legs of the original 'Walking ATAT' consist of five separate parts: lower_1, lower_2, upper_1, upper_2, and foot_2. Unfortunately, I was unable to achieve a visually appealing result with these parts due to excessive seams and broken clips. To address this issue, I decided to remix the components into a single, articulated in-place printed piece. This redesign eliminates the need for the five separate legs and provides a more cohesive look. This modified design is a direct replacement for the original five parts. It features articulation at both the knee and foot joints, allowing for smooth movement and flexibility. When printing this design, it's recommended to use supports to ensure proper structure and stability. However, depending on your printer's capabilities, you may need to perform some post-processing cleanup to remove any irregularities left behind by the supports.
