Walkera Runner 250 upgrades
thingiverse
I've added some sweet upgrades to my brand new drone, and I'm stoked about the results! First off, I've installed a set of landing feet that can only be printed with flexible material - they're a game-changer! And alongside those bad boys, I've also slapped on some motor guards for extra protection. I know the landing feet work amazingly well because I've already put them to the test! As for the motor guards, lucky me, I haven't had the chance to see how well they protect the motors yet - but I'm confident they'll do their job. By the way, the guards are 3mm thick, so you'll need to grab a 3mm longer bolt to secure them in place. Here are my print settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Modded two up Rafts: Who cares? Supports: None needed Resolution: .2mm - that's super fine! Infill: 100% on guards (for maximum protection) 20% on feet (just enough to give them some structure) Post-printing, my drone is looking sleek with its slip-on feet and bolt-on guards.
