I'm transitioning from a 107D mini quad to a 250 and still getting used to the larger size. Although I've experienced some minor crashes with my new drone, where it landed upside down with its antenna facing downwards, the flexible shaft has taken these incidents very well. My main worry is that the energy generated by an impact would travel through the SMA connector directly to the receiver if left unprotected. To address this concern, I've created a protective shield for the antenna to prevent damage from crashes where the drone lands upside down. This solution aims to divert the impact forces away from the SMA connector, thus reducing the risk of harm to the receiver and other components during a hard landing.
