This enhances support for both the flimsy battery tray and fragile battery stop that comes with the Walkera Runner 250 Advance quadcopter. The initial flight was plagued by a random crash from just about 10 feet, resulting in the battery bursting through the shoddy battery stop and smashing the OSD module, making it nearly impossible to replace the module easily. This support is designed to tackle two primary issues. First, take note of the picture showing the battery extension past the battery stop towards the rear - this improves 'Center of Gravity' balance (positioning the stock battery at this point will stabilize the Runner), and upon impact, redirects force to both the upper and lower frames. I've incorporated 2 small tabs visible in the inverted image that are intended to break with enough force, thereby allowing the battery to slow down as it advances and hits the original battery stop. If there's still significant force, the pointed lower legs will rotate and hit the front legs, preventing the battery from reaching the OSD module. For added weight, I printed at 10% infill... I invite any ideas for further refinement or alternative mods from fellow owners of the Runner 250. Notably, a slight variation exists between the frames across Runners, particularly where this design starts to widen - a slight groove should be filed in alignment with both vertical and horizontal angles. It's crucial that the "push-fit" is extremely tight and requires no glue to maintain integrity in a crash scenario. To install, simply remove 6 small screws securing the battery tray.
