I reassembled the Walkera G2D gimbal by first removing its base plate, which allowed me to invert the main vertical arm so it stood upright rather than hanging downwards. Next, I attached Droneme's Gimbal-GoPro adapter to the back, adding a mounting plate for the gimbals controller box with a small guide for securing it with a zip tie. I also plan to use the underside of this pad to mount a switch between the battery and controller.
