A friend of mine works for Walmart and, over the years, has received several "associate appreciation" pins. He asked me if I could print him a display for them and drew up a quick sketch of what he wanted. There are two versions of the roof. One has a provision for hanging, while the other does not. You can choose whichever version you like. If you go with the hanging version, you will need to print the keyhole, as well, and then glue it flush with the roof, creating a pocket into which a screw can slide. The pieces are designed to slide together. The fit is snug enough so that glue should not be necessary, but you can of course glue it if you'd like. If you are printing the keyhole version, be sure that the keyhole file is printed as presented so that there is no support needed for that. The wall is also printed as presented with no support needed. The roof and the foundation do require support, however, for the slots. The foundation is mean to be printed in tan or beige, to match the Walmart color scheme, but flesh color was the closet that I had on hand. The wall is printed in grey. The roof is printed in blue, with a color change to white at layer 73 (if you print this at 0.3mm layer height) or as soon as the letters begin to print. Category: Organization
