Waistbelt holder/ornament
thingiverse
This is a straightforward belt ornament designed to secure the end of the belt in place (I created it because there was no pant hoop available for the belt end, causing it to constantly flop away).\nI'll add images later.\nThe standard dimensions are suitable for a belt approximately 3CM in height.\nThe inscription reads "Reduction ad Cingulum", which, unless I've misinterpreted Latin incorrectly, should translate to "Reduced to the Belt". A poor pun on the fact it's a belt ornament...\nPrint Settings\nPrinter:\n Wanhao i3\n \n Rafts:\n Irrelevant\n \n Supports:\n Unnecessary\n \n Notes:\n You'll need to rotate the print to one side and then again so that the open sides rest on the plate. The remaining parts should print without support, although some of it may sag if you're printing too hot.\n\n \n \n Custom Section\nIdeas for improvement\n The ornament is purely decorative - its sole purpose is to hold the belt. I've been considering adding a slot for an SD card or something similar. A micro SD would fit, and it would give the ornament a secondary function. However, I'm unsure how to design it to securely hold the card, so it doesn't simply fall out.
