A detailed digital replica of this significant bone was created by Daniel Thomas, a skilled researcher at the Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Massey University. Utilizing a cutting-edge HP SLS-2 3D Scanner in conjunction with HP 3D scan 5 software, Thomas produced an accurate digital representation (further refined through post-processing in Blender 2.74). The outer dimensions of this intricate bone replica measure 77.8 x 31.2 x 26.4 mm.
