Wago 221-415 Connector x 5 Mount

The 4mm 5 wires Wago 221-415 connector is a useful electrical fitting. Often, it needs to be secured to a base plate. Wago do have base clips, but inconvenient to get hold of. You may even need several of these Wago connectors, daisy chained for lots of wires to meet. My designs provides a set of five mounts for one to five Wago 221-415 connector strips. My mount secures the Wago with a positive "clip" sound. With a bit of care, the connector can be removed from the mount and remounted as you work. I've included two versions of the five strip mount, one with separators between each Wago strip, the other without the separator. The mount with separator prevents the Wago sliding within the mount, useful if wiring will be exposed to movement. Wago 221 connectors have a rear access test point. My mount includes an opening which, if aligned with the test point provides clear access. My mount has a mounting holes for a 5g (3mm) countersunk mounting screw. Other screw head types will interfere with the Wago fitting, so are unsuitable. I had good success printing these mounts in PETG and PLA+. I noticed that Wago's own mount system is made from PA66 (NYLON). Here is my 3D design. My design may match your needs, too. My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum red filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. I hope you can find this design useful, too. Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
