As an avid 3D printer enthusiast, I was captivated by intricate designs like the majestic hairy lion. That's why I wanted to create something similar, and my profession as a skilled mask maker only fueled my passion for the "Balser fasnacht". This spectacular event draws hundreds of thousands of tourists to our vibrant city every year, showcasing some iconic traditional characters. One of them, arguably the most famous one, is the charismatic "Waggis", an Alsatian folkloric figure depicted with a comically oversized drinking nose and unruly hair - perfect for a wild design. No matter what, our cherished tradition deserves to be showcased on "Thingiverse", which is exactly why I'm here. I've crafted five unique variations of the figure: - The traditional version without headgear - The traditional version with a pointed cap - An interpretation featuring perret - An aristocratic interpretation based on a design by the group "Der Aint und der Glych", who actively participate in the "Basler Fasnacht" in this particular variant. To achieve realistic hair, it's best to use a standard hairdryer. I'm eager for others to have fun with these designs and bring them to life.
