On February 21st, an update was made; initially, the Wades holes were misaligned with the filament hole. However, this issue has been resolved by creating slots for the Wades holes instead. The prototype still functioned successfully. A photo reveals that the design accommodates a small fan at the back, although it may not fit on the Mendel. This fan is only necessary in hot climates without air conditioning. This acrylic structure was laser-cut in 5mm thickness. To assemble, feed the wires through the holes and solder them to the screw terminals. Then, push the terminal down into place, which should secure it. If needed, leave a section of adhesive paper for supergluing the terminal if it doesn't stay put on the acrylic. For heater block installation, consider the thickness. Attach the heater block after placing the structure or adjust its position to avoid contact with the acrylic. Slide the converter plate into place and bolt it up securely. Ensure proper alignment for a large heater block if already screwed on.
