Wades Extruder with MK5

Wades Extruder with MK5

thingiverse

The Wades extruder block has been modified to accommodate a MK5 hot end. Although it may not be compatible with a Mendel, the hot end can be securely attached to this modified extruder block. I have only bolted the hot end in place and haven't tested it yet; I am still making parts for it. To reduce heat transfer into the extruder block, I replaced the PTFE spacers on the hot ends with aluminum heatsinks. Additionally, I modified the extruder block to allow metal plates for load distribution across the top, where the MK5 bolts are attached. This is a test object that may not function with your printer; use at your own risk. Photos will be uploaded later, and updates will follow as needed.
