An extruder featuring a printed spur gear for use with Mendel or Darwin printers is presented here. This design is based on Adrian's geared NEMA 14 extruder, incorporating elements from Nophead's designs. Testing yielded over 16 kg of filament pulling force. Hot end development continues, but the extruder is compatible with existing 16 mm thermal breaks without modification.
