Wade's Geared Extruder For Huxley
thingiverse
To resolve issues with my Mini Mendel Huxley's bowden cable, I designed a carriage-mounted extruder. This untested design should work on the mini mendel if the x motor isn't low-torque; my oversized Huxley has sufficient space, while even the regular model should have enough height for all Mendel parts. Additionally, I'm working on a better bowden cable attachment method to easily add one if necessary. However, this solution doesn't help me print as I still face the chicken and egg problem. The scad file modifies the makerbot extruder block and includes an STL with Nophead's idler block but not his gear, due to export issues. Printing all parts requires a 100x113mm build platform.
