This is a baseplate built to work seamlessly with the micro x-carriage http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:972856. To detach this x-carriage base, simply undo 3 screws and the whole assembly comes off easily. The micro x-carriage keeps the x-axis belts perfectly tensioned even when the extruder/hotend is removed. It's designed to accommodate any type of wade-style groovemount extruder paired with a genuine jhead hot-end. Additionally, it features a fan shroud that can be mounted on a 40mm fan to cool the jhead fins effectively. I'm currently working on developing a fan mount to cool the plastic as it leaves the nozzle.
