Wade Extruder Body Sensor mod for 1.75mm filament with support
thingiverse
This is a modified version of the Wade extruder from the Prusa i3 rework kit to accommodate an inductive sensor, specifically the LJ12A3-4-Z/BX model. The sensor is positioned at the center of the X-axis, aligning with the hotend and situated at the rear on the Y-axis. The offsets from the probe relative to the extruder tip (hotend) are defined as follows: #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 25 #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 Print Settings: Printer: Mendel Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% Design Process: The design begins with importing an STL file into Tinkercad, where the sensor section is added. Custom Section: Two of these modifications have been successfully printed for two distinct machines (both Prusa i3), functioning seamlessly.
