This baseplate is designed to pair with the Micro X-Carriage. Removing it simply involves undoing three screws and taking it right off. The Micro X-Carriage maintains constant tension on the X-axis belts even when the extruder or hotend is removed. It is engineered to accommodate any type of Wade-Style Groovemount Extruder paired with an E3Dv5 Hot-end. Additionally, it comes equipped with a fan shroud that can be secured using a 40mm fan to cool heatsink fins. **Mounting Instructions** 1) Mount the 40mm fan by placing 3mm nuts into the nut traps on the baseplate. 2) Slide the hot end into the designated slot on the baseplate. 3) Secure everything in place by screwing the extruder to the baseplate. Optional Steps: 4) Attach the fan shroud to the fan. 5) Install the fan onto the baseplate; this can be done before or after assembling the entire unit to the Micro X-Carriage.
