Waddles with top hat
thingiverse
When I laid eyes on Alsamen's model, my initial thought was that I wouldn't have enough pink filament to see it through. However, having witnessed numerous partially headless prints wrapped up with some form of headgear, I reasoned that if mine didn't quite finish, I could always come up with a solution like this. Fortunately, I not only had sufficient filament to complete a full Waddles model, but also enough to create another one with a proper hat that even attaches securely. I printed the pictured hat using black TPU, which turned out to be nice and shiny, a fortunate circumstance given that the peg and hole were identical in size, making it a snug fit. The included STL file for the hat has been modified with a .5mm expansion to ensure a smoother fit on the peg. In the image, he's printed at 50% of its original size.
