Waco UPF-7 Biplane simplified cnc/laser
cults3d
UPDATE I upgraded this model to a working 3D puzzle. It occurred to me that I had created quite a few simplified plane models by now, but none of them were biplanes. The construction needed to be more complex, but it was definitely worth the effort. My build was completed on a desktop CNC machine from Stepcraft using 6.5 mm beech plywood and a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. Glued together and sanded to perfection, it's an excellent toy for boys of all ages. A laser cutter could also be used to create smaller versions of this model. You can find more simplified plane designs at https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/Toys/Plane-Models. Keep in mind that the STL file is just a validation tool and a browser view, not for 3D printing.
