The case should hold on the scale because of the friction of the silicone cover. There is a hole at the bottom and cutouts at the top to help you push&pull the scale out. I tried the model in both PLA and ABS on my scale, but no 2 devices are exactly the same. If you are experiencing any difficulties, let me know and maybe I can improve the model
