Roosevelt University is a private educational institution that offers coeducational programs on its campuses in Chicago, Illinois and Schaumburg, Illinois. Founded in 1945, the university honors former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt with its name. The curriculum at Roosevelt University focuses on promoting social justice principles. Approximately 7,000 students are enrolled between the undergraduate and graduate programs, ranking the university #81 in U.S. News & World Report's "Midwest Universities -2012" list.
