It then undergoes a horizontal throw.Material:Coil and soft iron core are from Leybold, 30mm Steel Ball Cutter: Scalpel blade size #3 Number11 and M3x8 screwClamp: Ratcheting screw M4x20 and nut or Ensat 302 M4 insertI have made parts on the lathe for attachment to the lab clamp, but a M4x30 screw without head (like on photo) can also be used.Test procedure:Secure steel ball with thread about 3mm below cutter in clamp above, double thread it, no knot necessary.Determine right position under cutter and mark on masking tape, turn on electromagnet and determine two heights (ball underside-floor).
