Optimal for rear central placement; ideal for front central location. Electric power is connected to the gear situated in front of the engine for hybrid vehicles, and also available for boosting power in a similar position for non-hybrid cars. Suitable for custom cars and hot rods with no equipment surrounding the engine. All components (starter, cooling water pump, etc.) are positioned in front of the wheels. This design is also advantageous for garages facilitating maintenance work.
