This mounting plate serves as a base for a retrofitted W65 PTT wall telephone, popularized in the 70s and 80s. Many W65 telephones lack this crucial component, prompting users to seek alternatives. This particular plate has gained renewed attention due to its application in A Wonderfoon music players designed specifically for individuals with dementia or elderly people. The mounting plate is secured to the wall using three screws. The W65 telephone can be attached to this base via two original screws or two Parker screws, as illustrated in the accompanying images. It's essential to apply a small amount of super glue to M3 nuts to prevent them from coming loose over time. Additionally, this package includes a cover plate intended for use when the original one is missing on a W65 telephone. This cover serves to seal the connector side, screws, and wiring at the bottom of the device.
