Proper repair for Dishwasher Upper Dish Rack Adjuster part number W10546502, front supports. Replaces weak "post" section of poorly designed dish rack adjuster. It's astonishing that the manufacturer compromised the integrity of the most crucial section of the assembly by partially hollowing it out. You can purchase a new entire rack adjuster part online for $20 to $50, but reviews indicate replacements don't last any better than the original OEM part. As the engineering is subpar, I designed this fix to improve the design using a stainless steel machine screw as reinforcement. At some point, I envision the back "post" will break, requiring a different approach. Examine the photos and installation instructions; you'll need to make some DIY adjustments to the original part to accommodate the new part.
