The seasoned aviator took a few deep breaths before grasping the worn leather gloves and making his way to the cockpit of the rugged old biplane. The creaky wooden propellers spun lazily in the gentle morning breeze as he settled into the pilot's seat, his weathered face squinting against the bright sunlight. With a firm grip on the controls, he banked the plane hard to the left, sending the ground rushing up to meet him in a blur of green and brown. The roar of the engine grew louder still as he leveled off, the wind whipping through his hair like a wild animal.
