VÄXER extension

I wanted to boost the capacity of my VAXER hydroponic system, so it could operate independently for extended periods. Every day or two, I had to refill the water when my salads were almost ready to harvest. This clever hack utilizes a standard PET or soda bottle to nearly double the water storage in the VAXER system. To prevent algae growth, I employed an opaque 1.5-liter energy drink bottle as the container. The system will not overflow provided the bottle does not have a leak or has excessively thin walls (vacuum inside may cause thin-walled bottles to collapse). You can find more information about this concept by searching for "inverted water bottle" on Google. I also created an updated version with a smaller rim, allowing users to integrate it with the Nursery Cross design from fastriker, available on Thingiverse.
