In some of the apartments, window handle parts for ventilation slots had broken off despite our efforts to find a new one to buy. We were forced to order a 3D-printed file instead. The handtag part was made slightly narrower than the original so that the 3D printer wouldn't need support material during printing. Otherwise, it's stronger and better than the original, but its effectiveness also depends on what kind of material is used for printing. Maybe the handtag needs to be made a bit thinner to fit better with the metal part. The 3D model's dimensions are 63 x 26 x 4.9 millimeters. The model was created using FreeCAD version 0.16, which is said to be better than the latest version. The file with the ".rit" extension was created with CamModul 5 by MicroTech StellaData AB, a Swedish company. On the drawing, "T" stands for thickness.
