The adapter is for this X carriage mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4974423 If you're using a shorter hotend than the original Volcano one, you'll probably want to (or even have to) lower the hotend cooling fan a bit. This adapter is meant for this scenario. BOM --- - 2x M3 threaded insert (for the fan) - 2x M2.5 threaded insert (optional, for the ADXL345 PCB - M3 threaded inserts also fit, but then the screw heads are quite close to the SMD components)
