VXB Gladiator NXT to Thrustmaster Warthog adapter
thingiverse
I swapped out a Thrustmaster Warthog with a VXB Gladiator NXT Evo and wanted to use my existing HOTAS mount. There are lots and lots of mounts out there for the Warthog and this adapter allows you use common 65mm mounting holes. This adapter replaces the metal bottom plate that came with the joystick. You'll need M4 heat set inserts to put threads into the adapter. I used Ultraset II M4 "Long" inserts. These are a hair more expensive than others but are very strong and will hold up to joystick manipulation. Use M4 screws to fit your mount. I used M4x8mm screws that were long enough to go through my mount plate into the bottom of the adapter. You'll also need 4 M3 flat head countersunk screws. I used M3x16 Torx heads (T10) so that they wouldn't strip and they were left over from modding my Prusa mini, but regular hex 12mm should also work. The adapter is 8mm thick so 12mm should be plenty of threads into the joystick. Be sure to use thick walls when printing to support the heat set inserts. I used 6 walls to allow plenty of material for the inserts to melt into and resist twisting.
